An 1840's Italianate villa, restored to commemorate Canada's first Prime Minister, Sir John A. MacDonald, who lived there with his family in the late 1840's. The site also has a Visitor Centre which contains a theatre, exhibit area and gift shop, as well as public washrooms.

The current Fort was constructed 1832 - 1837. Features include British and Canadian military uniforms, arms, armaments, medals, militaria and furniture of the 18th and 19th centuries.

This large red brick schoolhouse was built in 1892, and served for 100 years as one of the city's largest elementary schools.
