DISABILITY AWARENESS TRAINING

ILCK will work with your organization to:

Access to Employment supports people with disabilities in finding employment through individual skills building and enhancing employer awareness through training and education. The Access to Employment program provides a professional holistic approach to supporting employers in engaging people with disabilities in all aspects of their business. Services include:
  • One to one and group training consultations for employers and employment service providers;
  • Disability awareness/sensitivity training for employers and employees;
  • Universal Design audits including parking, walkways, entrances, main facility & washrooms;
  • Assist with the compliance of the “Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act” 2005 (AODA);
  • Inclusive Human Resources Practices;
  • Consultation for recruiting, interviewing and hiring persons with disabilities;
  • Consultation on employee accommodations including workspace modifications;
