Disability Tax Credit Applications
The Canadian government has disability tax credits, disability tax benefits and other grants that are available for people with disabilities. Getting approved for the Disability Tax Credit can open up a number benefits to those who qualify.
Not only will you or your caregiver be able to claim the disability tax credits, but approval also means you may be eligible for additions such as:
* Claiming Credits in Previous Years
* Future Savings
* Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP)
* Additional Supplements.
However obtaining these benefits can be complex and overwhelming. If you or someone you know has a medical condition that restricts, or limits daily living activities for a continuous length of at least 12 months and have not already claimed a Disability Tax Benefit, then we urge you to contact the centre at 613-542-8353 or email email@example.com
Who We Are
Independent Living Centre Kingston is a non-profit organization run by and for people with disabilities. We believe all people can fully participate in every aspect of their communities. Using Independent Living principles we help people with disabilities explore options, make decisions, take risks and control their lives. The Centre has been providing leadership, support and skills development since 1988.
What We Do
Independent Living Centre Kingston is a disability resource centre. We provide information, support, and skills-building programs that address disability issues in the community. We support people with disabilities, their families, and the community. All of our programs and services are free.
What's Going On at the Centre
Join the DINERS’ CLUB once a month when we visit local accessible restaurants. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy an evening out at one of your favourite restaurants or experience somewhere new.
DROP-IN SOCIAL GROUP, Tuesdays from 1 pm to 3 pm.
Our COMPUTER LAB is open from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.
The RESOURCE CENTRE offers and extensive library that offers information on a wide range of topics.
